The Irene Diamond Fund/AFAR Postdoctoral Transition Awards in Aging

Dibs Datta Headshot

Dibyadeep Datta, PhD

Postdoctoral Associate, Yale University

Cell-type and region-specific regulatory networks in age-related cognitive decline

The overarching focus of Dr. Datta’s research is to better understand the molecular alterations in neural circuitry that contribute to cognitive disorders. In particular, he will focus on the mechanisms that lead to calcium dysregulation, neuroinflammation, and tau phosphorylation. He is integrating a diverse set of approaches, ranging from cellular and molecular biology, to systems and clinical neuroscience.
