Sleep is like your body’s superpower: A good night means a sharper, happier, and more energetic day, and regular restorative sleep means a longer and healthier life. Yet, 7 out of 10 adults have problems that affect the quality of their sleep, and as we grow older, our sleep styles and needs change. That all makes a good night’s rest a constantly moving target—but fortunately, scientists and practitioners interested in healthy aging have solutions. Join us as we hear how they are exploring the neurological and biological systems of sleep as well as innovative interventions to improve sleep—and with it, short and long-term health.

In the latest talk in our Live Better Longer series, Prevention’s Editor-in-Chief Sarah Smith will be joined by two experts who are leading the research in the science of sleep.

  • How do changes in our natural Circadian rhythms affect sleep as we age?
  • How are older adults uniquely impacted by sleep apnea or sleep disturbances?
  • How can sleep improve cognition, memory, as well as immune health?
