AFAR is pleased to announce that a generous $5 million gift from The Glenn Foundation for Medical Research will provide significant funding for two major AFAR grant programs, the AFAR Research Grants and the Breakthroughs in Gerontology (BIG) Awards. The donation extends a longstanding partnership between the two organizations. “For more than three decades, Paul Glenn and the Glenn Foundation have been true partners and friends of AFAR,” said Stephanie Lederman, EdM, AFAR Executive Director. “The Glenn Foundation has also recognized the importance of supporting a new generation of researchers, helping them get their start as future leaders in the science of healthier aging.” Read more in the Santa Barbara News-Press.
