On June 30th, 2024, The New York Times featured AFAR grantee Daniel Promislow, DPhil, in an article spotlighting The Dog Aging Project, co-founded by Promislow and AFAR multiple grantee and Cristofalo Award winner Matt Kaeberlein, PhD.
Dr. Promislow shared insights from early results of The Dog Aging Project on how biological, environmental and lifestyle factors can impact aging in dogs, and how human aging can benefit from such studies.
Dr. Promislow is a 1998 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research and AFAR Grants for Junior Faculty recipient and a 2010 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research Breakthroughs in Gerontology (BIG) Award recipient.
