On November 25th, 2025, Oprah Daily featured insights from AFAR Grantee Reisa Sperling, PhD, in an article on lifestyle interventions that could help to delay Alzheimer’s, extend healthspan, and preserve cognitive function.
Dr. Sperling emphasized the importance of lifestyle interventions, such as exercise. She recently co‑authored new research in Nature Medicine on the potential connection between moderate exercise and delaying the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Sperling is a 2003 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging recipient.
