On February 28, 2021, Salon featured insights from AFAR grantee Constance H. Fung, MD, MSHS, in a feature exploring how a culture of “wakefulness” can contribute to sleep deprivation and cause long-term health risks
Dr. Fung is a 2013 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Agingscholar and former American Sleep Medicine Foundation Physician Scientist Training Awardee, VA Advanced Geriatrics Fellow, and John A. Hartford Center of Excellence Scholar. She is an Associate Clinical Professor, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Fung shared her insights on the benefits of sleep with AFAR and Prevention magazine during our Live Better Longer webinar, “The Power of Sleep,” in 2021.
