AFAR Grantee in the News: Kevin Murach receives $2.5 Million NIH Grant to advance research on muscle renewal and aging.

AFAR congratulates AFAR 2022 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research and AFAR Grants for Junior Faculty recipient Kevin Murach, PhD, for being awarded more than $2.5 million from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to advance research on how exercise can mitigate the decline of tissue function with aging.

As principal investigator, Dr. Murach will lead a research team at the University of Arkansas, where he is an Assistant professor in the College of Education and Health Professions Exercise Science Resource Center.
