Leadership in the News: Executive Director Stephanie Lederman in The New York Times on support for the Dog Aging Project

On January 11, 2024, The New York Times featured insights from AFAR Executive Director Stephanie Lederman on need for renewed NIH funding for the groundbreaking Dog Aging Project.

Founded by two AFAR grantees, Matt Kaeberlein, PhD, and Daniel Promislow, DPhil, at the University of Washington, the Dog Aging Project has yielded great insights on the role of therapeutics to extend human healthspan by studying canine longevity.

AFAR hosted a media briefing in 2016 for the launch of the Dog Aging Project, as well as a Live Better Longer webinar with Prevention magazine featuring Dr. Kaeberlein.
