AFAR News: 2022 Annual Report Now Available

AFAR is pleased to share the release our 2022 Annual Report highlighting:

• Three AFAR strategic initiatives furthering the field of aging research at large through a focus on people via the SuperAgers Initiative, biology via the FAST (Finding Aging biomarkers by Searching existing Trials) Initiative), and education via the Amplifying Geroscience Initiative.
• AFAR's core scientific programs including our 2022 grant programs and recipients, scientific awards, and meetings such as the Paul F. Glenn/AFAR Conference on the Biology of Aging and Annual AFAR Grantee Conference and the Clin-STAR and Beeson Annual Meeting.
• AFAR’s leadership of three initiatives funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA): co-managing the Research Centers Collaborative Network (RCCN), serving as the Coordinating Center for the Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging (NSC3), and serving as the national program office for the Clinician-Scientists Transdisciplinary Aging Research (Clin-STAR) Coordinating Center.
• Communications such as the Live Better Longer webinar series, held in collaboration with Prevention magazine, to educate the general public by discussing the science behind a range of lifestyle and tech innovations to promote healthy aging.
