On April 7th 2015, AFAR co-hosted the event, Knowledge is Beautiful: David McCandless on Information Design and Aging Research, with Pratt Institute’s Graduate Communications Design program and Spatial Analysis and Visualization Initiative (SAVI). Acclaimed data journalist David McCandless is joined by AFAR Board Member and President of the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research, Mark Collins, to discuss their collaboration on the “Live Longer, Live Well” animation, which was created by McCandless, the Glenn Foundation, and AFAR.
