Grantees in the News: Beeson Scholars Duke Han and Jason Karlawish join new Global Council on Brain Health
On October 27th, AARP and Age UK announced the launch of the Global Council on Brain Health, GCBH, whose founding members include 2012 Paul Beeson Scholar S. Duke Han, PhD, ABPP-CN and 2007 Paul Beeson Scholar Jason Karlawish, MD.
The GCBH is an independent collaborative for scientists, doctors, scholars, and policy experts who will provide trusted information on what actions people can take to support their brain health.

Duke Han, PhD, is a diplomat of the American Board of Professional Psychology in clinical neuropsychology and an associate professor of behavioral sciences at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center.
Dr. Han also was recently featured on the National Institute of Aging’s “Scholar Spotlight” here.
Jason Karlawish, MD, is a Professor of Medicine, Medical Ethics and Health Policy, at the University of Pennsylvania.
