On September 4, 2018, Cell Metabolism published research co-authored by AFAR expert Pankaj Kapahi, Ph.D.

Dr. Kapahi has received multiple AFAR grants including: a 2001 Glenn/AFAR Postdoctoral Fellowship, a 2006 Glenn/AFAR Breakthroughs in Gerontology (BIG) Award, and a 2011 Julie Martin Mid-Career Award in Aging Research. He also served on AFAR’s National Scientific Advisory Council in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
