Grantee in the News: Malaz Boustani on OTC drugs and dementia-like symptoms Considerable
On February 9, 2020, Considerable featured insights from AFAR expert Malaz Boustani, MD, on how some over-the-counter medicines may affect cognition in older adults.
Dr. Boustani is a 2000 John A. Hartford Foundation’s Centers of Excellence in Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Psychiatry Fellow and a 2005 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging recipient. He is also a Research Scientist in the Center for Aging Research at Regenstrief Institute Inc. and Indiana University School of Medicine, the Director of the Center for Health Innovation and Implementation Science, and a Richard M. Fairbanks Professor in Aging Research at Indiana University School of Medicine.
