On June 18, 2019, Alzheimer’s & Dementia journal published research co-authored by AFAR expert Kristine Yaffe, MD. The research explores the relationship between excessive napping in older men and cognitive impairment.
Dr. Yaffe is a 2001 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging Scholar recipient. She is a Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology and Epidemiology, Psychiatry, and the Roy and Marie Scola Endowed Chair Vice Chair of Research in Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco.
