Grantee in the News: Kenneth Langa on PET scans effectiveness in The New York Times
On August, 2, 2019, The New York Times featured the insights of AFAR expert Kenneth M. Langa, MD, PhD, on the effectiveness of PET scans. The article also links to recent research co-authored by Dr. Langa in JAMA Internal Medicine on the rate of diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Langa is a 2003 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging recipient. He is also a Professor of Internal Medicine, Gerontology, and Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan.
