Grantee in the News: Felipe Sierra Named a 2015 Influencer in Aging
Congratulations to 1993 AFAR Research Grant recipient and Director of the NIA’s Division of Aging Biology, Felipe Sierra, PhD on his selection as a 2015 Influencer in Aging.
Sponsored by Next Avenue, PBS’s only national service for America’s booming 50+ population, this award annually recognizes 50 thought leaders, innovators, writers, advocates, experts and others are changing how we age and think about aging. Dr. Sierra, was honored as one ten individuals in the “Health and Well-Being” category.
Also honored was former review committee member Cynthia Kenyon, PhD, and former Board Member Linda P. Fried, PhD.
Felipe Sierra, PhD, is the Director of the Division of Aging Biology at the National Institute on Aging.
