Grantee in the News: Dena Dubal in Nature Medicine on her Journey to Biomedical Research

On July 3, 2019, Nature Medicine featured an article by AFAR expert Dena Dubal, MD, PhD, exploring her personal journey to a career in biomedical research.

Dr. Dubal is a 2015 AFAR Research Grant for Junior Faculty recipient, 2009 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging scholar, and 1998 Glenn/AFAR Scholarships for Research in the Biology of Aging recipient. She is an assistant professor of neurology at the University of California San Francisco.
