On July 24, 2019, Next Avenue published the latest column by AFAR Scientific Director Steven N. Austad, PhD.

In commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, Dr. Austad explains what we have learned about aging by studying older astronauts. The article also references the 1998 mission by late AFAR Board Member John Glenn.
