Board Member in the News: Nir Barzilai on TAME Trials & Metformin’s clinical impact in Healio’s Endocrine Today

On August 30, 2019 Healio’s Endocrine Today featured the insights of AFAR expert Nir Barzilai, MD, on the goals and benefits of the upcoming TAME trials, which will evaluate metformin’s clinical impact.

Dr. Barzilai is AFAR’s Deputy Scientific Director, a 1994 AFAR Research Grant recipient, a 1997 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging scholar, a 2010 Irving S. Wright Award winner, the Director at the Institute for Aging Research and distinguished Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
