Board Member in the news: David Sinclair’s Lifespan book spotlighted in Medium
On September 26, 2019, Medium highlighted AFAR expert David A. Sinclair, PhD, AO, and his New York Times best-seller, Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why You Don’t Have To. The opinion piece examines the book’s argument that we can live healthier longer by targeting the biology of aging.
Dr. Sinclair is an AFAR board member, a 2000 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research and AFAR Grants for Junior Faculty recipient, and a 2018 Irving S. Wright Award recipient. He is also a Professor in the Department of Genetics and co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biology of Aging at Harvard Medical School. He is the co-founder of Lifebiosciences.
