Ask the Expert Interview: Nathan LeBrasseur on Sarcopenia, the protein Myostatin, and Exercise on Next Avenue

AFAR is excited to announce the latest addition to our “Ask the Expert” interview series.

In this exclusive interview, AFAR expert Nathan LeBrasseur, PT, PhD lends his insights on sarcopenia, his research on the protein myostatin, and the benefits of exercise to prevent loss of muscle mass.

Dr. LeBrasseur is a 2002 Glenn/AFAR Scholarship for Research in the Biology of Aging recipient, and a 2019 Vincent Cristofalo Rising Star Award in Aging Research recipient. He is also a Consultant, Professor, and Co-Chair of Research in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic.
