On September 6, 2018, Cell Metabolism published research co-authored by AFAR experts Rozalyn Anderson, Ph.D., Rafael de Cabo, Ph.D., and Yuji Ikeno, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Anderson is a 2016 Glenn/AFAR Breakthroughs in Gerontology (BIG) Award winner.

Dr. Cabo is a 2014 Vincent Cristofalo Rising Star Award in Aging Research winner.

Dr. Ikeno is a 2008 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research Breakthroughs in Gerontology Award winner as well as a 2011-2017 National Scientific Advisory Council member.
