Steven Austad, Ph.D, is a Distinguished Professor and the Department chair at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Nir Barzilai, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. 

Judith Campisi, Ph.D., is a Professor at the Bucks Institute for Aging Research.

Ana Maria Cuervo, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor in Developmental & Molecular Biology, Anatomy & Structural Biology, and the Department of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. 

Matt Kaeberlein, Ph.D., is a Co-Director of the University of Washington Medicine Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging, for which AFAR serves the Nathan Shock Centers Coordinating Center.
