Fortune Well article and video spotlights AFAR SuperAgers Family Study

On November 19, 2023, Fortune Well spotlighted AFAR’s SuperAgers Family Study in a feature article. Principal Investigator Sofiya Milman, MD, MS, lends insights, and Study participant Madeline Paldo shares perspectives from her long and active life at 100 years old.

An accompanying video features AFAR Scientific Director and Study Co-PI Nir Barzilai, MD as well as Dr. Milman. They speak of the research questions driving the SuperAgers Family Study and its potential impact on healthy aging at large.

The SuperAgers Family Study, led by AFAR in collaboration with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Boston University School of Medicine, aims to collect data from a large group of individuals who have lived to age 95 or more. The Study's goal is to understand and uncover the biological factors contributing to healthy aging and exceptional longevity shared among SuperAgers and their families.
