Board Member in the News: Richard G.A. Faragher, PhD, featured in The Guardian’s ‘Secrets of Aging’ episode of Science Weekly Podcast

On July 30th, 2024, The Guardian's Science Weekly podcast featured AFAR Board Member Richard G.A. Faragher, PhD, in the first episode of a three-part series exploring aging. Dr. Faragher spoke with host Ian Sample on biological aging and healthspan and the evolutionary reasons for our longevity.

Dr. Faragher is past Chair of both the British Society for Research on Ageing and the International Association of Biomedical Gerontology and is Professor of Biogerontology at the University of Brighton.
