On April 10th, 2025, The New York Times featured AFAR grantee William Mair, PhD, in an article exploring factors that may delay age-related diseases. Dr. Mair also shared insights into biological aging.
Dr. Mair is a 2010 Ellison/AFAR Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship Award recipient and a 2017 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research Breakthroughs in Gerontology (BIG) Award recipient. He is also an Associate Professor of Genetics and Complex Diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
