AFAR Grantee in the News: New research co-authored by Peter van Galen, PhD, published in Nature Aging

On November 4th, 2025, Nature Aging published new research co-authored by multiple AFAR grantee Peter van Galen, PhD, exploring age-related biological differences in human breast cancers.

Dr. Galen is a 2020 Glenn Foundation for Medical Research and AFAR Grants for Junior Faculty recipient and a 2025 Hevolution/AFAR New Investigator Awards in Aging Biology and Geroscience Researchrecipient.
