Maust, MD, and Michael Steinman, MD, in an article exploring factors of the increase in fall‑related deaths in older Americans. The experts discussed how factors such as age-related frailty, increased prescribing of certain medications, drug interactions, and shifts in how falls are reported may all contribute to the rise.
