AFAR, along with seven of our colleague national aging organizations, recently commissioned research about how the public views older adults in this country. The FrameWorks Institute compared what experts say about older adults to what the public perceives to be true. There are profound differences, with deep implications for the way we need to communicate about aging services and policies.

Susan Nall Bales, President and Nat Kendall-Taylor, Vice President for Research at The FrameWorks Institute, will provide a summary of the research’s key findings.
The webinar will conclude with a discussion of implications and next steps.
The collaborative of eight aging organizations supporting this research includes AARP, American Federation for Aging Research, American Geriatrics Society, American Society on Aging, Gerontological Society of America, Grantmakers in Aging, National Council on Aging and the National Hispanic Council on Aging.
