On September 21, 2017, from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, the Stanford Longevity Center will host its 10th Anniversary Symposium: Celebrating a Decade of Resigning Long Life. This one-day symposium will explore the recent advances in the biology of aging that promise to dramatically improve health span and the implications for societies when people live out their full lives. Speakers include AFAR Scientific Director Steven Austad, PhD, and Board Member, 1999 Paul Beeson Career Development Scholar, and 2008 Glenn/AFAR Breakthroughs in Gerontology Award winner, and Deputy Director of the Stanford Center on Longevity Thomas Rando, PhD.
