Registration now open for the 26th International Day of Older Persons at the United Nations on Thursday, October 6th, 2016, from 10:00 to 1:00.
The theme this year is: "TAKE A STAND AGAINST AGEISM"
Registration closes on SEPTEMBER 30TH.
There is no charge for the morning program at the UN, but Registration is REQUIRED.
Due to strict United Nations security, it is essential for those who do not have valid United Nations credentials to register by September 30th! No walk-in registration is allowed for those not holding UN grounds passes.
A luncheon to support the work of the NGO Committee on Ageing/New York will follow at Piccolo Fiore Restaurant, 230 E 44th Street. Tickets for the luncheon cost $70.00. Registration also REQUIRED.
