From 8:30 to 10:00 am, AFAR will be hosting a media briefing on the latest in pain management for older adults. The briefing is sponsored by the Mayday Fund, a private foundation that supports research on pain. The event will showcase a stellar line-up of speakers: Kathleen M. Foley of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Anne Louise Oaklander of Harvard Medical School, and Cary Reid of Weill Medical College at Cornell University. The breakfast will allow media to ask questions about the most recent developments in pain management research, including alternative pain management and an update on pain medication.
