POSTPONED

Due to uncontrollable circumstances, AFAR must postpone the Keeping Your Brain Young webinar scheduled for May 25. Thank you for your interest. We hope to reschedule soon.

Do our brains age at a different rate than our bodies do? Discover the habits and other factors that keep your mindsharp during this free webinar hosted by AFAR and Prevention magazine as part of our Live Better Longer series.

In a conversation-style webinar, Prevention’s Editor in Chief Sarah Smith will be joined by healthy aging expert Catherine Kaczorowski, PhD, of The Jackson Laboratory, to discuss aging and brain function, and the role of diet, exercise, and social connections in preserving cognition.

Throughout her research career, Dr. Kaczorowski’s research has focused on identifying and validating the genetic factors that protect individuals from cognitive decline, helping identify ‘normal’ age-related memory decline and Alzheimer’s dementia.

Dr. Kaczorowski is an Professor and Evnin Family Chair in Alzheimer's Research, at the Jackson Laboratory. A 2014 New Investigator Award in Alzheimer's Disease recipient from AFAR, she currently chairs AFAR’s Sagol Network Geromic Awards for Junior Faculty selection committee.
