Unfortunately, one in twenty older adults become victim of financial fraud--the illegal or improper use of an older persons funds, property, or assets, instigated by both familiar and outside perpetrators. Moreover, changes in brain functionality as we age can impact financial decision-making and risk-taking.

To explore this growing sociomedial concern, AFAR will convene experts in financial planning, elder care, and biomedical research for a webinar to discuss the physiological processes that impact how older patients make financial decisions and ways to avoid fraud or abuse.

The webinar’s discussion will offer valuable tips for patients and their caregivers, as well as the banking and medical institutions who support them. Please join us for this free webinar.
