AFAR is proud to sponsor the Second Euro-Geroscience Conference, to be held on March 24-25, 2022 in Toulouse, France. This 2-day conference will feature 6 scientific sessions and 4 round-table discussions and will provide a forum for open discussion of the current advances and future development in the field. AFAR grantee Felipe Sierra, PhD, is a lead organizer and visionary behind the conference.
The conference will feature presentations and participation from several AFAR experts. The first day will feature AFAR Scientific Director Nir Barzilai, MD, AFAR Board President James L. Kirkland, MD, PhD, AFAR Board Members Ana Maria Cuervo, MD, PhD, Laura Niedernhofer, MD, PhD, and David Sinclair, PhD, as well as AFAR grantees Anne Brunet, PhD, Rafael de Cabo, PhD, Jamie N. Justice, PhD, and Brian Kennedy, PhD. The second day of the conference will feature AFAR Senior Scientific Director Steven N. Austad, PhD, AFAR grantee Matt Kaeberlein, PhD, and AFAR Executive Director Stephanie Lederman, MEd.
AFAR grantee Felipe Sierra, PhD, is a lead organizer and visionary behind the conference. Drs. Austad, Cuervo, and Kirkland also served on the conference's Scientific Committee.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, this will be a hybrid event, allowing attendance onsite in Toulouse, France or remotely.
