Alzheimer's Disease: Hope for the Future

Start Time: June 17, 2013

Alzheimer’s remains among the most devastating – and feared – diagnoses. But many experts believe that in knowledge, there is hope. This webinar will provide an overview of the most promising research, as well as current care options. Join AFAR to ask leading experts your questions about cutting-edge Alzheimer’s research.

Richard Besdine, MD, Professor of Medicine and of Health Services Policy and Practice, Director – Center for Gerontology & Healthcare Research; Director, Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Alpert Medical School of Brown University and AFAR Medical Officer, and Jason Karlawish, MD, Professor of Medicine and Medical Ethics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, will provide insight on potential cures and therapies now under development. Our experts will also review clinical care options, both pharmacological and non-pharmacologic. This one-hour webinar will include an audience Q&A session.

Monday, June 17, 2013, 3:00 p.m. EST
