The American Geriatrics Society (AGS), in partnership with Clin-STAR and the National Institute on Aging (NIA), is pleased to offer the AGS/AFAR Clin-STAR Mentoring and Grantsmanship Workshop at the 2022 AGS Annual Scientific Meeting, being held from 12:00 – 3:45 pm on Saturday, May 14 in Orlando, FL.
Building on the Clinician Specialists’ Rising Stars in Aging Research Program Workshop Series, this in-person workshop will offer opportunities for networking, discuss important aspects of DEI across research, and provide attendees with useful information on grantsmanship efforts through breakout discussions.
Geared towards early career investigators but open to all, anyone interested in hearing about DEI practices and processes to promote structural change and grantsmanship topics should attend! This session is being offered in conjunction with the AGS Annual Scientific Meeting.
