2023 Annual Report
AFAR is pleased to share the release of "From Investment to Impact," our 2023 Annual Report highlighting:
- Four AFAR grantees who have leveraged the support they have received from AFAR to impact the field and beyond: Bérénice Benayoun, PhD, Malene Hansen, PhD, Satchin Panda, PhD, and Ming Xu, PhD.
- AFAR's furthering the field through our SuperAgers and Amplifying Geroscience strategic initiatives, as well as through the leadership we provide for four NIA-funded initiatives: the Research Centers Collaborative Network (RCCN), Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging (NSC3), the Clinician-Scientists Transdisciplinary Aging Research (Clin-STAR) initiative and the Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Awards in Aging.
- AFAR's 2023 grant programs and recipients, scientific awards, and annual meetings.
The accomplishments detailed in this report are made possible thanks to our invaluable supporters, board members, and staff continued commitment to AFAR’s work to support promising research that will help us all live healthier, longer.
