On May 15, Yueming Li, PhD, of Sloan-Kettering Institute and Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Lennart Mucke, MD, of the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease and University of California, San Francisco, received the 2013 MetLife Foundation Awards for Medical Research in recognition of their outstanding work on Alzheimer’s disease.
